Those dreaming spires
Well here we are in the academic idyle of Cambridge visiting lil sis Julie.
Shes just completed her first year at Anglia Ruskin University studying Graphic design.
Cambridge is a truly wonderful place. Theyve managed to fuse old and new very well to create a truly charming and cosy place.
I arrived yesterday and spent a wonderful time walking with Julie in the centre with modern shops nestling tastefully with the famous Kings & Jesus colleges.
Cambridge is celebrating a staggering 800 years as a University. The whole city reeks of an ancient historical timeline that runs right up to and includes contemporary use of these famous sites.
Julie is doing really well and is loving her course, working hard and achieving some fantastic results and Im really proud of her 😀
Tomorrow we plan to go on an open bus tour and maybe go punting on the river!
