{"id":43,"date":"2008-11-02T16:40:49","date_gmt":"2008-11-02T15:40:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.tostevin.net\/2008\/11\/02\/viva-las-vegas\/"},"modified":"2018-01-01T15:52:44","modified_gmt":"2018-01-01T14:52:44","slug":"viva-las-vegas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/showmethecode.net\/?p=43","title":{"rendered":"\u201cViva Las Vegas\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well we&#8217;re on our way home now after an excellent conference in L.A &amp; a final weekend in Las Vegas.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ve certainly packed\u00a0 a lot in&#8230; we&#8217;ve been to two shows &#8220;Keith Barry&#8221; (an illusionist) &amp; &#8220;Ka&#8221; ( a Cirque du Soleil spectacular)<\/p>\n<p>We also managed a wee bit of gambling &#8230; unfortunately no big wins as well as visiting the Bellagio (scene for Oceans 12), plus the odd bar or two!<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ve also officially integrated ourselves into  the local &#8216;redneck&#8217; community &#8230; we went to a large gun range and fired off some serious hardware.<br \/>\nFaheem had an AK-47 assault rifle whilst Declan fired off a pump action shot gun, an Uzi &amp; a Desert Eagle hand gun.<br \/>\nI managed to get my mits on some WWII hardware a Tommy Gun, MP40 (German Schmeiser) &amp; a Colt 45 &#8230;.excellent stuff!<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Casino\" href=\"https:\/\/showmethecode.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/vegas2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/showmethecode.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/vegas2-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Casino\" \/><\/a> <a title=\"img00017-20081030-2217.jpg\" href=\"https:\/\/showmethecode.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/img00017-20081030-2217.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/showmethecode.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/img00017-20081030-2217.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"  alt=\"img00017-20081030-2217.jpg\" \/><\/a><a title=\"Schmeiser\" href=\"https:\/\/showmethecode.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/vegas1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/showmethecode.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/vegas1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Schmeiser\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well we&#8217;re on our way home now after an excellent conference in L.A &amp; a final weekend in Las Vegas.
