Boat trip to Brisbane
Picked up the Brisbane ferry at the QU (Queensland University) St Lucia ‘station’ for a trip into Brizy were we had lunch and wandered through the City Botanic Gardens before heading on to the South Bank Parklands City beach.
Australia is truly ahead of its time with the number of free facilities it offers to families and kids – it is both amazing and inspiring of admiration – especially when you consider the Botanic Gardens and the City Beach are right in the centre of Brisbane on prime real estate locations! The facilities are modern, well designed and immaculately kept – with even life guards provided by the city for the beach – truly wonderful – “good on ya Australia !” 😀
